Our March meeting topic is "Building Organizational Receptiveness and Sustainable Support from Leadership." Following the approach of our last meeting, we are continuing to respond to feedback from our most recent member survey, in which members identified the lack of DEIB knowledge, support, and participation by senior leadership and colleagues as a significant concern.
DIPCPA co-founders and co-authors Deborah D. Vereen and Frank Miles will share key lessons learned about how to holistically answer your leadership’s “Why and Expectations” about DEIB. Drawing upon Part 2, Systemic Change, of their recently published book, Holistic Leadership: How to Weave Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Principles into Your Organization’s DNA, they will provide valuable guidance on how to bring your organization along a sustainable forward-thinking DEIB Journey.
Bonus: Book Raffle
As part of this meeting, we will also host a raffle for the presenters’ book:
